What If We Lived Like This Was True?

EVERYWHERE I GO

What if these promises of God are actually still true today?

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you everywhere you go. Joshua 1:9

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Ok, I’ll ask a different question: What if WE LIVED as if these promises of God were actually true?

A good portion of my life I walked around believing these scriptures to be the Word of God, but I wasn’t found living as though they were true. All my life I asked, almost pleaded, for Jesus to be with me in my day to day. I was so caught up inviting Him into my little world that I completely forgot that He Is God and that I’ve been invited into His world/Kingdom. Everywhere I go, He is with me. Furthermore, the same spirit that raised Jesus from the grave, lives in me all week long!

How would this reality change the way that we go through our days? In the midst of great sorrow and pain, Jesus is at work in, through and all around us. Thank you Jesus. In the midst of great beauty and celebration, Jesus is at work in, through and all around us. Thank you!

Jesus, remind us all week long to be looking for where you are at work and to join you in it. AMEN

Ok, so today and all week, let’s be looking out for where Jesus is working and then join Him in it!
