With The Same Measure Of Grace We Give, We Receive?

Nobody’s perfect. The people that have put their thumbprint on you, may have also hurt you. How can we still encourage and be Jesus’ mouth piece in the grey areas of life? This is more about us practicing the principles of Jesus even when it’s not comfortable. Wouldn’t we want to be known as encouragers and forgivers? When we begin to realize the amount of forgiveness and grace that we’ve been shown by Jesus, this opens up the ability for us to forgive others. For with the same measure of grace that we show others is the amount of grace that we’re given.

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15

We’re not even talking about our enemies yet...that’s coming. These are the people that have really had an influence on us, but maybe there are little things that have gotten in the way from us encouraging them back.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another...  Hebrews 10:24-25

Ok, so who in your world do you need to reach out to today and encourage? Let them know today! No need to get into deep issues, just love them well! Let’s practice this today.

Let us know how it goes...what’s it do in you? How did they respond?
